Rams 4 Mariners 2

 The Rams scored 3 runs in the 6th to overcome a 2 to 1 deficit. Justin Bolla had a big 2 RBI single for the Rams. Jake Barressi earned the win in relief. Zack Abbott pitched 4 strong innings allowing 0 earned runs for the Mariners.

Joe White singled to score CJ Ingraham with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th breaking a 3-3 tie. 

Richie Williams got the win in relief of Dylan Copeland (7 innings 2 runs).

Sam Macdowell took the loss In relief of Engel(7 innings 2 runs).

The teams meet again tomorrow night in Rockport, 630 start.

Beverly 6 Manchester/Essex 3

 The Beverly Giants picked up the win Tuesday night in Essex, scoring four runs in the first to take a lead they would not relinquish. Brennan Frost picked up the win. Palacious shut the door out of the bullpen.

Hamilton Generals and Rowley Rams Tie

Rowley Rams got things moving in the first inning. Rowley Rams scored two runs when Tim Cashman doubled.
 

Hamilton Generals totaled eight hits. Harrison O'Brien and Will Frain each managed multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Frain and O'Brien each managed two hits to lead Hamilton Generals. Hamilton Generals didn't commit a single error in the field. Nick Freni had nine chances in the field, the most on the team. 


Cashman led Rowley Rams with two hits in three at bats.

Mariners 10 Chiefs 0

 The Manchester-Essex Mariners took down the Ipswich Chiefs last night in Essex 10 to 0.

The Mariners got on the board in the bottom of the first with a 2 out 2 RBI triple by Cory Burnham.

Brett Moore carried a perfect game into the 5th.

Rowley Rams Takes a Tough Blow From Hamilton Generals

Wednesday was a long day for Rowley Rams, falling to Hamilton Generals 15-2. Luke Mclintock was the winning pitcher for Hamilton Generals. The bulldog surrendered one run on four hits over five innings, striking out four and walking zero. Adam Green threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.


Rowley Rams saw the ball well today, racking up six hits in the game. Coldy Ingraham and Rich Williams each collected multiple hits for Rowley Rams. Williams and Ingraham each collected two hits to lead Rowley Rams.


Hamilton Generals tallied 14 hits on the day. Nick Freni, Hunter Willochoski, Harrison O'Brien, Carter Coffey, Chris Huggett, and Tobin Clark-Goldfeld each racked up multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Hamilton Generals didn't commit a single error in the field. Coffey had the most chances in the field with three.

Mariners 7 Rockport 3

 The Mariners took down the Townies last night 7 to 3 in Essex. Rusty Tucker, Sachem Rawmos and Jack Shaw lead the way for the Mariners on the mound. Mike Quill, Rawmos, Tucker, Alex Ray and James McKenna all had big hits.


Jack Sperry and Zack Morris both had laser ground rule doubles*.

Mariners 5 Townies 2

 Zack Abbott lead the Mariners to victory Sunday night in Rockport with 6 strong innings, allowing just 2 runs. Jack Shaw closed the door in the 7th, picking up the save. 

The offense was lead by the three McKenna brothers, recording all 5 RBIs. "James McKenna hit one of the furthest balls to left I've ever seen here.." said longtime Mariners shortstop Caulin Rogers.

The two teams meet again in Essex on Tuesday night.

Dave Ingraham picked up the win with 5 scoreless innings of relief on Wednesday night in Rowley. Jake Baressi had a pair of doubles while Justin Bolla and Curtis Putnam both also had multi hit games.
