In a rematch of that disappointing setback, Manchester struck early and often, earning a convincing 12-5 decision to push their ITL-best record to 15-2. The Mariners scored six times in the second to break things open and added four insurance runs in the sixth to seal the deal.

Defensively, Zack Abbott drew the start on the mound and grabbed the win, going five innings while allowing just one earned run and striking out six. Jack Shaw slammed the door with two strong innings of relief, including four Ks.
