
The Chiefs came to play on Monday night at home! Dave Shoreman paced the hometown squad throwing a complete game 2 hit shutout for the boys in green.
Rick Sotoropolus led the offense going 3 for 4 at the plate tonight from the lead off spot. Dylan Durning, and Shoreman both went 1 for 3, Shoreman helping the cause with 2 RBI's and During contributing an RBI of his own. All of the Chiefs offense came in the 5th inning, when The Generals commited 2 errors.

The highlight of the Chiefs was Shoreman's pitching performance. He chaulked up 7K's through the complete game yielding just 2 hits, walking 3, and only needing 99 pitches. Mark Potter and Justin Tilley had the only hits for the visiting Generals.

Judd Function although pitched well got the tough luck loss. Function threw a 6 innings, giving up 3 earned run, 5 hits, and walking just 2 Chief batters.
