The Chiefs jumped out to an 11 to 1 lead through 3 innings. The Giants staged a mid-game rally cutting the lead to 11 to 7 in the 5th inning but fell short.

Dave Shoreman earned the victory on the mound. Joe Gill was charged with the loss.

The Chiefs offense was led by Tom Radzim (3 for 4, HR, 5RBI), Ryan Montecalvo (2 for 5, RBI), and Shoreman (2 for 4, 3Runs).

The Giants had strong performances from Brendan Fullerton (2 for 4, 3B, 2RBI), Kevin Harutunian (2 for 3, 2SB, 2Runs), and Corey Williams (1 for 3, 3B).

The two teams meet again Sunday night at Cooney Field.
