Beverly Giants Can't Hold Up Against Ipswich Chiefs

It was a tough day on Sunday for Beverly Giants, who lost 9-0 to Ipswich Chiefs.  A single by Matt Herlihy in the second inning was a positive for Beverly Giants.

Jake Greaney was credited with the victory for Ipswich Chiefs. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero.  Andy Brown took the loss for Beverly Giants.

He allowed eight hits and three runs over four innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Herlihy and Luke McDonald each managed one hit to lead Beverly Giants. Beverly Giants didn't commit a single error in the field. Kevin Harutunian had the most chances in the field with seven.

Ipswich Chiefs saw the ball well today, racking up 14 hits in the game. Greaney, Greg Doucette, RJ Libby, and Will Montgomery all collected multiple hits for Ipswich Chiefs. Greaney went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Ipswich Chiefs in hits.
