Ipswich Chiefs Defeated By Man./Essex Mariners

Ipswich Chiefs evened things up at two in the bottom of the third inning when Dave Moore singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Man./Essex Mariners pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Caulin Rogers singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.  Marc Phinney led things off on the pitcher's mound for Man./Essex Mariners. He allowed five hits and two runs over four innings, striking out nine.

Jake Greaney was on the pitcher's mound for Ipswich Chiefs. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out two. Will Diezemann threw two and a third innings in relief.

Greaney, Diezemann, Moore, Will Montgomery, and Corey Greaney each managed one hit to lead Ipswich Chiefs.  Man./Essex Mariners totaled eight hits in the game. Rogers, Phinney, and Kellen Field all had multiple hits for Man./Essex Mariners. Man./Essex Mariners was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Paul Crehan had the most chances in the field with 15.
