The Hamilton Generals win 3-0 Tuesday night over the Topsfield Tories

Hamilton Generals Captures Lead Early to Defeat Topsfield Tories
Topsfield Tories fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 3-0 loss to Hamilton Generals on Tuesday. Hamilton Generals took the lead on a home run in the second inning.  The pitching was strong on both sides. Hamilton Generals pitchers struck out 12, while Topsfield Tories sat down three.

Hamilton Generals got things moving in the second inning, when Luke Painchaud hit a solo homer.
A single by Alex Smith in the first inning was a positive for Topsfield Tories.  Phil Durgin earned the victory on the hill for Hamilton Generals. He allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking one.

Tom Cadmus took the loss for Topsfield Tories. He surrendered three runs on eight hits over four innings, walking zero. Ben Panunzio and Smith all had one hit to lead Topsfield Tories.

Hamilton Generals had ten hits in the game. Keegan O’Shea and Henry Eagar each had multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Hamilton Generals didn't commit a single error in the field. O’Shea had the most chances in the field with 13.
