Early Lead For Hamilton Generals Seals Fate For Beverly Giants

Beverly Giants fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-1 loss to Hamilton Generals on Sunday. Hamilton Generals scored on a single by Nick Freni and an error in the first inning.  Hamilton Generals got things started in the first inning when Aidan Cann singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. 


Paul Horgan was credited with the victory for Hamilton Generals. The fireballer allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine. Cann threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Cann recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Hamilton Generals. 


Browm went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Beverly Giants in hits.  Hamilton Generals totaled eight hits in the game. Cann and Freni all managed multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Cann led Hamilton Generals with three hits in four at bats.
