Early Lead For Hamilton Generals Seals Fate For Beverly Giants

Beverly Giants fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-2 loss to Hamilton Generals on Sunday. Hamilton Generals scored on a walk by Hunter Willochoski in the second inning and a single by Keegan O’Shea in the second inning. 


Hamilton Generals fired up the offense in the first inning, when Tim McKenna lined out, driving in a run.
Hamilton Generals scored three runs in the fourth inning. Hamilton Generals big bats were led by Paul Horgan, O’Shea, and McKenna, all driving in runs in the inning. 


Phil Durgin got the win for Hamilton Generals. The righthander allowed five hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six.  Horgan started the game for Hamilton Generals. The hurler surrendered zero runs on two hits over two innings, striking out four and walking one.


Beverly Giants saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game. Brad Petipas and Andy Brown all managed multiple hits for Beverly Giants. Brown and Petipas all had two hits to lead Beverly Giants.
Hamilton Generals racked up ten hits. O’Shea, Tim O’Leary, and Neil Simmons each had multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Hamilton Generals didn't commit a single error in the field. O’Shea had the most chances in the field with ten.
