Man./Essex Mariners Grabs Lead in Fifth Inning for Victory Over Ipswich Chiefs
Man./Essex Mariners defeated Ipswich Chiefs 3-1 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at zero with Man./Essex Mariners batting in the bottom of the fifth when.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Man./Essex Mariners pitchers struck out 16, while hurlers for Ipswich Chiefs sat down four. Rusty Tucker earned the win for Man./Essex Mariners. He pitched five innings, giving up zero runs, zero hits, and striking out 14. Two relievers helped Man./Essex Mariners close out the victory. Bartlet threw one inning. Joe Perna took the loss for Ipswich Chiefs. He threw, allowing three runs, and zero hits.

Beverly Giants Pitches Well, but Can't Find Enough Runs in Loss to Topsfield Tories
Both teams were strong on the mound on Sunday, but Topsfield Tories was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Beverly Giants on Sunday. Sean Martin started the game for Beverly Giants and recorded six outs.

Generals Score Opening Day Win in Rockport
Late Score Pushes Generals over Townies
- Rockport Townies (0-1) lost the lead late in a 6-5 defeat to Hamilton Generals (1-0) on Sunday. Hamilton Generals was down 5-4 in the top of the sixth inning when Harrison O'Brien singled off of Nolan Webb, driving in two runs.
- Hamilton Generals took an early lead in the first inning. Hamilton Generals scored one run when Mark Ruggiero singled with two outs in the first inning.
- Rockport Townies evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Segel drove in one run when he singled.
- Rockport Townies scored three runs in the third inning. Rockport Townies's big inning was driven by a double by Vizenq and a double by Cottone.
- Matt Greeke earned the win for Hamilton Generals. He tossed four innings, surrendering zero runs, three hits, striking out five, and walking one. Nolan Webb took the loss for Rockport Townies. He pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking zero.
