Generals 5, Townies 2
Hamilton Generals was victorious over Rockport Townies, 5-2
Rockport Townies got on the board in the first inning. Keady Segel grounded out, scoring one run.
Hamilton Generals evened things up at two in the bottom of the third inning when Henry Eagar was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
Hamilton Generals pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth an error scored two runs for Hamilton Generals and Larry Saggese singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Sal Guarino earned the win for Hamilton Generals. He lasted five innings, allowing six hits and two runs. Pete Duval threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Duval recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Hamilton Generals.
James Parisi took the loss for Rockport Townies. He went three innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out four.
Saggese, Harrison O'Brien, Tim McKenna, and Chris Huggett each managed one hit to lead Hamilton Generals. Hamilton Generals didn't commit a single error in the field. Eagar had the most chances in the field with eight.
Rockport Townies racked up seven hits in the game. Jameson Kamm and Alex Webb each racked up multiple hits for Rockport Townies.

Dylan Copeland pitched 5 shutout innings and Lewi L’euhreux drove in 5. The 2 teams play again Friday in Topsfield.

Ipswich @ M/E Rained Out
Tonight's game is Essex is rained out. A make-up is tentatively scheduled for Wed. June 12th. We are waiting for final confirmation.
Ipswich Chiefs Defeated By Man./Essex Mariners

Man./Essex Mariners pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Caulin Rogers singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Marc Phinney led things off on the pitcher's mound for Man./Essex Mariners. He allowed five hits and two runs over four innings, striking out nine.
Jake Greaney was on the pitcher's mound for Ipswich Chiefs. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out two. Will Diezemann threw two and a third innings in relief.

Paul Crehan had the most chances in the field with 15.

Hamilton Generals Captures Lead Early to Defeat Rockport Townies
Rockport Townies fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-1 loss to Hamilton Generals on Sunday. Hamilton Generals scored on a single by Henry Eagar and a single by Pete Duval in the second inning.
The Rockport Townies struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hamilton Generals, giving up seven runs.
Hamilton Generals pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Eagar singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run and Duval singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Luke Painchaud got the win for Hamilton Generals. He lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out six and walking zero.
Derek Osmond took the loss for Rockport Townies. He surrendered five runs on nine hits over four innings, striking out two and walking one.
Marcus Cottone, Keady Segel, and Ryan Webb all had one hit to lead Rockport Townies.
Hamilton Generals totaled nine hits. Larry Saggese and Hunter Willochoski each managed multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Saggese went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Hamilton Generals in hits.

90th ITL Season Kicks Off Today!
The 90th ITL season kicks off today as Hamilton faces Rockport (6pm) at Evans Field and Topsfield visits Beverly (5pm Cooney). Good luck to all teams this season!
