Jensen's Arm Carries Generals over Mariners 9-1

Jeff Jensen pitched a complete game, baffling Mariner hitters the entire way. Jensen scattered 7 hits, struck out 5, no walks, and allowed only 1 run to earn the victory. Choate was tagged with the loss for the Mariners.

Jim Maloney started the scoring for the Generals in the second with a solo HR. The Mariners tied it in the 3rd on a Bertolino sacrifice fly. With 2 outs in the fourth the Generals were able to put together a big rally, scoring 4 runs. The key hits came from Tim O'Leary who plated 2 with a nice single just over the first baseman's head, and Mark Potter who contributed an RBI single later in the inning.
