Rowley 2 - Ipswich 4

The reservation was warm and dusty Monday night as the Chief's took on the Rams of Rowley. In their first meeting of the year Brad Eaton took to the hill in hopes of hearding the rams.

Eaton (4-0) would throw 5 2/3 and giving up 2 runs to secure the victory for the Chief's. Chris Lane (S-2) came on in the 6th with two outs and two on and got a ground ball to third where Tyler Hammond made a great off balance throw to nail Dan Knight at first to end the 6th. The 7th Lane would allow a lead off base hit. Struck out the next batter, and forced the third hitter to bounce into a smoothly done 4-6-3 double play.

The Chief's bounced back with the bats after they were shut down in the series with Beverly. Tommy Radzim sparked the offense going 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Jimmy Bodwell, Chris Zaremba, and Bryan Wolfe added RBI's to contribute to the Chief's 7th win of the year.

The Chief's travel to the Mosquito nest on Wednesday night. Action starts at 5:45.
