Chiefs 2 Mariners 1

Kevin Michael pitched a complete game gem as the Chiefs won Game 1 2-1. Ryan Montecalvo homered in the first inning and Manchester tied it in the fifth. In the top of the seventh the Chiefs had three straight hits (Tom Radzim, Gardy O'Flynn and Chris Zaremba) and plated one that stood up. Matt Small made some tremendous plays at short in the final inning to secure the win. Game #2 is at 2pm at Bialek park on Sunday.
