Hamilton Generals and Rowley Rams played to a 6-6 tie on Thursday. Rowley Rams tied the game on a double in the seventh inning.
In the first inning, Hamilton Generals got their offense started when Larry Saggese grounded out, scoring one run.
Rowley Rams evened things up at six in the top of the seventh inning. Rowley Rams scored one run when Lewi Lheureux doubled.
Hamilton Generals put up three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Chris Huggett and an error on a ball put in play by Keegan O’Shea.
Jake Lanciani led Hamilton Generals with two hits in three at bats.
Rowley Rams scattered eight hits in the game. Lheureux and Tim Moore each managed multiple hits for Rowley Rams.
This game was much more exciting than this automatic write-up can handle. Per ITL by-laws this game will be played, in its entirety, tonight at Patton Park - 5:30pm. The eventual winner will certainly earn their trip to the ITL Finals.
