Hamilton Generals Grabs Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Beverly Giants

Hamilton Generals defeated Beverly Giants 5-1 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with Hamilton Generals batting in the bottom of the sixth when Aidan Cann hit a solo homer.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Hamilton Generals tied things up at one. Mark Roselli singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Jake Lanciani got the win for Hamilton Generals. They went seven innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out seven.

Josh Levesque took the loss for Beverly Giants. They lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out eight and walking one.

Hamilton Generals launched two home runs on the day. Hunter Willochoski had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Cann had a long ball in the sixth inning.

Lanciani led Hamilton Generals with two hits in two at bats.

Brian Chirco went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Beverly Giants in hits. Beverly Giants didn't commit a single error in the field. Chirco had the most chances in the field with eight.
