Mariners 8 Townies 7

Rockport jumped ahead 2 to 0 in the first inning but Manchester-Essex rallied back over the next 2 innings to take a 5 to 2 lead after a Kellen Field homer. Rockport went ahead 7 to 5 after a grand slam in the 5th. The following inning  Field hit a 2 out 2 run single to put the Mariners ahead 8 to 7. Dylan Wilson went 6 gutsy innings for the home squad and Zach Abbott closed the door. With 2 outs in the top of the 7th Adam Philpott made a diving catch on a deep fly ball by Keady Segel to clinch the victory with the tying run stranded on 2nd. The Mariners move on the the Finals for the 9th straight season and 12th out of 13 years.
