Man./Essex Mariners got out to a seven-run lead in the sixth inning and held on for an 8-7 victory over Rockport Townies on Tuesday. Rockport Townies scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double by Jack S, a double by Zach M, a single by Kyle N, and a double by Jameson K.
Rockport Townies scored six runs in the seventh inning, but Man./Essex Mariners still managed to pull out the victory. Jack, Zach, Kyle, and Jameson powered the big inning with RBIs.
Dylan Wilson was credited with the victory for Man./Essex Mariners. The fireballer surrendered one run on three hits over six innings, striking out three.
Derick M took the loss for Rockport Townies. The righty surrendered seven runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out three.

It was a tough day on Sunday for Beverly Giants, who lost 12-3 to Man./Essex Mariners

Hamilton Generals Grabs Lead in 7th Inning to Defeat Rowley Rams
Hamilton Generals snatched the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over Rowley Rams on Thursday. The game was tied at one with Rowley Rams batting in the top of the sixth when Dimitri Hunt singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Hamilton Generals pitchers struck out five, while Rowley Rams pitchers sat down 12.
Hamilton Generals fired up the offense in the first inning, when Hunter Willochoski doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Hamilton Generals tied things up at two. Harrison O'Brien drove in one when O'Brien singled. Jake Lanciani led the Hamilton Generals to victory on the hill. The ace lasted one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while walking zero. Luke Painchaud threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Two Pitchers Team Up as Hamilton Generals Shuts Out Rockport Townies
Hamilton Generals defeated Rockport Townies 9-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Luke Painchaud induced a groundout from Derick MacDowell to finish off the game. Hamilton Generals got things started in the first inning when Hunter Willochoski hit a solo homer.
Hamilton Generals tallied three runs in the third inning. Hamilton Generals offense in the inning was led by Larry Saggese and Keegan O’Shea, all knocking in runs in the inning. One bright spot for Rockport Townies was a single by Jake Engel in the fifth inning. Sal Guarino was the winning pitcher for Hamilton Generals. The ace allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out one. Painchaud threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Engel took the loss for Rockport Townies. The southpaw went three innings, allowing six runs on eight hits and striking out two. Hamilton Generals launched one home run on the day. Manchester/Essex Mariners defeated Ipswich Chiefs 8-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout.
Dylan Wilson led the Mariners to victory by driving in four runs. Wilson went 2-for-3 at the plate with 2 home runs, both in the second inning.
Rusty Tucker earned the win as he lasted four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out 11. Wilson and Caulin Rogers entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Corey Greaney pitched well in relief for the Chiefs, going four and one-third innings, allowing zero runs on four hits and striking out six.

Ipswich Chiefs watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-0 loss to Man./Essex Mariners on Monday. Man./Essex Mariners scored on a home run by Bennett O'Leary in the first inning and a double by Marcus Montignino in the second inning.
The Ipswich Chiefs struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Man./Essex Mariners, giving up 11 runs.
