Ipswich Chiefs Takes a Tough Blow From Hamilton Generals

Ipswich Chiefs had a tough time generating runs on Monday, dropping their game with Hamilton Generals 10-2.  Ipswich Chiefs got things started in the first inning when Willie Bailey singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

 
Hamilton Generals pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Hunter Willochoski singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Sean Patrikas singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. 


Hamilton Generals scored four runs in the seventh inning. Hamilton Generals's big inning was driven by a sac fly by Harrison O'Brien and a home run by Nick Freni.  Carter Coffey was the winning pitcher for Hamilton Generals. The pitcher surrendered one run on three hits over two innings, striking out five and walking zero. Luke Mclintock threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. 


Phil Durgin started the game for Hamilton Generals. The bulldog allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three.  Bailey led Ipswich Chiefs with two hits in four at bats.
Hamilton Generals tallied 14 hits in the game. Willochoski, Ryan Hutchinson, Mclintock, and Coffey all had multiple hits for Hamilton Generals.
