Greg Doucette Drives in Six to Seal Ipswich Chiefs's Victory Over Hamilton Generals

Greg Doucette drove in six on two hits to lead Ipswich Chiefs past Hamilton Generals 16-3 on Monday. Doucette drove in runs on a sacrifice fly in the first, a home run in the second, a home run in the third, and a sacrifice fly in the third.

Ipswich Chiefs grabbed an early lead. Ipswich Chiefs scored on a sacrifice fly by Doucette in the first inning, a single by RJ Libby in the second inning, a home run by Doucette in the second inning, a single by Corey Greaney in the second inning, and a error in the second inning.

In the bottom of the first inning, Ipswich Chiefs tied things up at one when Doucette's sac fly scored one run for Ipswich Chiefs. Will Diezemann pitched Ipswich Chiefs to victory. He lasted four innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out six. Jake Kivekas threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.   Luke Painchaud took the loss for Hamilton Generals. He surrendered seven runs on seven hits over one and two-thirds innings, walking one.
