Late Score Costs Ipswich Chiefs Against Topsfield Tories

Monday's game against Topsfield Tories was a heartbreaker for Ipswich Chiefs, as they lost the lead late in an 8-4 defeat. Topsfield Tories trailed 3-2 in the top of the fifth inning when Topsfield Tories scored on a stolen base during Casey Orlando's at bat. Then Orlando homered , driving in three.

Shane Grady earned the win for Topsfield Tories. He allowed six hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Matt Nolfi threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Jay Galoski took the loss for Ipswich Chiefs. He went five innings, allowing seven runs on ten hits and striking out four.
