Hamilton Generals Jumps Out to Early Lead in Victory Over Ipswich Chiefs

Hamilton Generals defeated Ipswich Chiefs 9-2 thanks to a strong start. Hamilton Generals scored on a sacrifice fly by Brett Harring in the first inning, a single by Larry Saggese in the first inning, and a walk by Harring in the second inning.

Hamilton Generals secured the victory thanks to six runs in the sixth inning. Hamilton Generals put the pressure on, lead by singles by Chris Huggett, Harring, and Saggese and an error on a ball put in play by Jake Lanciani.

Caleb Comeau took the loss for Ipswich Chiefs. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs on seven hits and striking out five. Saggese led Hamilton Generals with two hits in four at bats.
Chas Rousseau went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Ipswich Chiefs in hits.
