Ipswich Chiefs Defeats Beverly Giants in High-Scoring Game, 20-6

Both offenses were strong in Ipswich Chiefs 20-6 victory over Beverly Giants.   In the first inning, Ipswich Chiefs got their offense started when Jake Greaney singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Ipswich Chiefs notched eight runs in the sixth inning. Chas Rousseau, Steven Solimeno, Sam Blizard, RJ Libby, Greg Doucette, and Alex Morris each had RBIs in the frame.

Beverly Giants scored three runs in the fifth inning. Beverly Giants's big inning was driven by by Cam Rogers and Gavin Sparkman and a single by Josh Levesque.  Will Diezemann pitched Ipswich Chiefs to victory. He surrendered four runs on two hits over four innings, striking out three. Caleb Comeau threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Comeau recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Ipswich Chiefs.

Levesque took the loss for Beverly Giants. He allowed eight hits and 12 runs over four and a third innings, striking out four.  Ipswich Chiefs tallied 15 hits on the day. Blizard, Morris, Doucette, Corey Greaney, and Dave Moore each managed multiple hits for Ipswich Chiefs. Morris and Blizard each managed three hits to lead Ipswich Chiefs. Ipswich Chiefs was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Solimeno had the most chances in the field with six.  Beverly Giants was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Dan Cashman made the most plays with six.
