Despite a 9-run deficit in the second inning, Ipswich Chiefs almost came all the way back, eventually falling 9-8 to Beverly Giants on Friday. Beverly Giants scored on a double by Luke McDonald in the first inning, a single by Brady McGrath in the first inning, a walk by Sean Martin in the first inning, a single by Kevin Harutunian in the first inning, a single by Andy Brown in the first inning, and a double by Josh Levesque in the second inning.
