Hamilton Generals Claims Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Rowley Rams

Hamilton Generals ran off with the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over Rowley Rams on Thursday.  The game was tied at two with Hamilton Generals batting in the bottom of the sixth when Dave Ingraham's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Hamilton Generals.
 

The pitching was strong on both sides. Hamilton Generals pitchers struck out six, while Rowley Rams pitchers sat down nine. Rowley Rams fired up the offense in the second inning, when CJ Ingraham singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. 


Jake Lanciani earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Hamilton Generals. The hurler went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out one and walking zero.  Ingraham took the loss for Rowley Rams. The hurler allowed two hits and three runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one.


Paul Horgan started the game for Hamilton Generals. The fireballer surrendered two runs on four hits over five innings, striking out five.  Harrison O'Brien and Ian Coffey each managed one hit to lead Hamilton Generals. Hamilton Generals stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Lanciani led the way with four.  Ingraham went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Rowley Rams in hits.
