Rusty Tucker and Jake Barressi were locked into a scoreless pitchers duel last night in Essex until the 7th. Barressi was relieved to start the 7th inning. Corey Burnham lead off with a walk, Caulin Rogers ripped a single to center, and both guys moved up after a passed ball on a strikeout. Kellen Field drove in the game winning run with 2 strikes on a hard hit ball to the right side.
Earlier in the game the Rams turned two huge line drive double plays to get out of scoring situations.
