In the regular season finale the Hamilton Generals defeated the Manchester-Essex Mariners 5-4 on after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at four with Hamilton Generals batting in the bottom of the sixth when Chris Huggett's sac fly scored one run for Hamilton Generals.

Adam Green was on the mound for Hamilton Generals. Green allowed 7 hits and four runs over five innings innings, striking out three. Brian Nicoll picked up the win in relief with one scoreless inning.
Cory McCollum pitched well but took the loss with one plus innings out of the bullpen, Bob Whynott entered the game in the sixth inning with the bases loaded and recorded two big strikeouts against the heart of the General lineup. Ryan Marques started and allowed two runs over four innings.
