Rowley Rams Grabs Lead in Sixth Inning for Victory Over Hamilton Generals

 Rowley Rams defeated Hamilton Generals 7-5 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at five with Rowley Rams batting in the bottom of the sixth when Joe White singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs. 


Rowley Rams earned the victory despite allowing Hamilton Generals to score four runs in the fourth inning. Hamilton Generals's big inning was driven by walks by Larry Saggese and Carter Coffey and singles by Conor Mclintock and Harrison O'Brien. 


Dylan Copeland was the winning pitcher for Rowley Rams. The hurler went five and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out five. Colby Ingraham recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Rowley Rams. 


Coffey took the loss for Hamilton Generals. The bulldog surrendered four runs on four hits over two innings, striking out one and walking one. Luke Mclintock started the game for Hamilton Generals. Mclintock lasted four innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out four.


Rich Williams led Rowley Rams with two hits in four at bats. Rowley Rams didn't commit a single error in the field. White had the most chances in the field with seven.  Hamilton Generals had nine hits in the game. Mclintock, Mclintock, and O'Brien each had multiple hits for Hamilton Generals.
