Hamilton Generals Grabs Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Rowley Rams

Hamilton Generals took the lead late and defeated Rowley Rams 5-4 on Sunday. The game was tied at four with Hamilton Generals batting in the bottom of the sixth when Paul Horgan doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Rowley Rams scored three runs in the first inning, but Hamilton Generals still managed to pull out the victory. Rowley Rams scored its runs on a home run by Justin Bolla


Rowley Rams fired up the offense in the first inning. Bolla drove in three when Bolla homered. Hunter Willochoski took the win for Hamilton Generals. The pitcher allowed four hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out four. Rich Williams took the loss for Rowley Rams. The pitcher went one inning, allowing two runs on three hits and walking zero. 


Jake Baressi started the game for Rowley Rams. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out nine.  Rowley Rams launched two home runs on the day. Bolla went for the long ball in the first inning.  Ingraham had a long ball in the second inning.

 Nick Freni went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hamilton Generals in hits. Hamilton Generals was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Tobin Clark-Goldfeld had the most chances in the field with five.  Rowley Rams was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. CJ Ingraham made the most plays with two.
