Beverly - 5, Rowley - 3

The Beverly Giants (9-5) used a four run fourth inning to defeat the Rowley Rams (5-8) by the score of 5 to 3 Thursday night at Eiras Park. Ty Besse's two run triple and John Boyle's RBI double keyed the rally for the Giants. Besse and Erik Drown had two hits apiece for the winners. Frankie Messina earned the win allowing 3 runs over 4 innings with 5 strikeouts. Steve Palladino was stellar in relief with three shutout inings for the save.


For Rowley, Ralph Renzulli was 3 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI.
