Ipswich - 11, Topsfield - 6

The Chiefs flexed their muscles in the back and forth victory with a scrappy Topsfield team.  Trailing 2 to 1 in the fourth Ipswich scored 5 runs sparked by 2 run homers by Andy Knox and Ryan Montecalvo.  Topsfield fought back scoring 4 runs in the fifth tying it at 6 apiece.  The Chiefs used the long ball again to take control of the game.  Matt Small and Greg Doucette addd 2 more 2 run homers in a 6 run sixth.  The Tories loaded the bases in the seventh but the threat ended there.
