Chiefs 7 Generals 6

Ipswich scored three in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Hamilton on Monday night on Linebrook Road by a score of 7-6.  D. O'Flynn hit a one-out two-run double to secure the walk-off win for the Chiefs.  Mark O'Flynn (7IP, 7H, 6ER, 3BB, 12K)  went the distance to earn the win on the mound and was backed by the big bat of Matt Small who pounded Generals pitching for four extra base hits.  Chris Judd took the loss in relief for the Generals.

Matt Small (4-for-4, 2 HR, 2 2B, 3R, 3RBI) put Ipswich up 2-0 in the bottom of the first with a two-run HR.  Hamilton answered in the top of the second with a Matt Greeke two-run double and an RBI groundout by Jim Love to take a 3-2 lead.  Small went deep again in the bottom of the third to tie the game at three.  Ipswich then got to Hamilton starter Luke Painchaud again in the fifth to go ahead 4-3.  Zermbra singled, went to third a double by Small and then scored on a Doucette single.

Trailing 4-3 in the top of the seventh, Jim Maloney put the Generals up 6-4 with a three-run HR.  However, Ipswich came out swining in the bottom half of the inning.  Small led off the inning with yet another double and came in to score on a Doucette double.  Tom Radzim then walked before the first out of the inning was recorded on a strikeout.  After a single by Collins loaded the bases, D. O'Flynn ripped a line drive to the fence in left field that scored two, giving the Chiefs a thrilling walk-off win.
