Beverly - 3, Rockport - 2

Beverly improved to 9-10 behind a complete game effort from Josh Levesque. Levesque notched his 4th win of the season with 7 innings of 2 run ball allowing only 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 8.  
Levesque finished strong retiring the last 12 batters of the game.

Beverly scored all of its runs in the 2nd inning. Kevin Harutunian's sac fly scored one before Andy Brown's deep fly was misplayed into 2 more runs. Rockport got both of their runs and all their hits in the 3rd inning. Brian Lentz and Favalora had RBI singles in the frame. Douglas went the distance for Rockport but was tagged with the loss after 3 unearned runs. Douglas retired the last 10 batters he faced.
