Hamilton - 5 Ipswich - 4

Jack Clay entered in relief to a based loaded jam in the 4th and limited the damage.  He went on to pitch a scoreless final 3 innings for the victory.  Danny Johnson had 2 hits and drove in what became the winning run in the top of the 5th.  Larry Saggese and Luke Painchaud also tallied 2 hits apiece for the Generals.

For Ipswich, Chris Zaremba tripled and scored and Louis Galanis had 2 hits.

The 2 teams meet again in Hamilton on Thursday night.
