In the bottom of the 7th inning the Topsfield Tories lead 6 to 3 with 2 outs and no one on base. Manchester-Essex got the comeback started on a Rory Gentile single to right. After a walk to Mike Cain, Adam Philpott ripped an RBI single that scored Gentile and advanced Cain to 3rd base. Philpott moved up to 2nd on an error by the left fielder as the ball skipped under his glove. Sean Desmond was then called to pinch run for Philpott.
The stage was set for Noah Aiello. With 2 strikes Aiello lined a ball up the middle scoring Cain and Desmond. The throw to the plate beat Desmond but during his slide the ball dislodged from the catcher's grasp allowing the Mariners to tie the game at 6.

Rowley wins 9-8 riding a 5 run first inning behind a 3 run home run from Justin Bolla and a 2 run triple from Curtis Putnam, Tim Moore went 5 for the win and Dave Ingraham gets the 2 inning save. Greeke takes the loss, Burnham pitched well in 6 innings of relief.

- Ipswich Chiefs fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 3-2 loss to Topsfield Tories on Monday. Topsfield Tories scored on an error and a single by Tom Budrewicz in the second inning.
- The pitching was strong on both sides. Topsfield Tories pitchers struck out two, while Ipswich Chiefs sat down five
- Ipswich Chiefs captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Ipswich Chiefs.
- After Topsfield Tories scored one run in the top of the third, Ipswich Chiefs answered with one of their own. Topsfield Tories scored when Ryan Beaton singled off of Andrew Carbone, driving in one run. Ipswich Chiefs then answered when Alex Morris singled off of Shane Grady, driving in one run.

- Man./Essex Mariners defeated Ipswich Chiefs 4-1 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with Man./Essex Mariners batting in the bottom of the sixth when Max Nesbit doubled off of Greg Doucette, driving in one run.
- Ipswich Chiefs captured the lead in the second inning. With two outs in the second inning Dave Moore drove in one run when he tripled.
- Man./Essex Mariners knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fifth inning. Man./Essex Mariners scored one run when Caulin Rogers doubled with two outs in the fifth inning.
