Hamilton received a stellar performance on the mound and at the plate from rookie Luke Wendt.  He allowed 1 run on 6 hits with 8 K's in 6 innings of work for the win.  He helped his own cause at the dish going 2-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.  For Beverly, Frankie Messina went 3-4 with an RBI and Jeff Barricelli was 2-3 on the night.  Both teams are back in action on Thursday as Hamilton is in Patton against Topsfield and Beverly is at Rowley.
