Rams 0 - Generals 7

The Hamilton Generals completed a season sweep of the Rowley Rams behind another great pitching performance from Judd Funchion. Funchion pitched a complete game allowing only 3 hits and recording 7 strike outs.

The Generals scattered their runs, scoring in each of the first 5 innings. Jim Maloney, Neil Simmons, Tom Jones, and Bryan Vitale all had 2 hits apiece for the Generals. Vitale had a nice 2-RBI double in the fourth. In the fifth, Mark Potter delivered on a hit and run. His double to right center scored Jeff Jensen all the way from 1st. Jeff Wood, Dan Knight, and Willet contributed the hits for the Rams.

On Monday the Generals travel to Ipswich to face the league leaders, while the Rams next play Sunday night in Rockport.
