Rams 15 Tories 4
The Rams finally got something going on offense as they banged out 12 hits to go with 12 walks and they put up 15 to move their record to 5-7. The Rams struck first scoring 1 in the first and 2 in the second, but Topsfield posted a 3 in the third to tie the game, Rowley came back to score 6 in their half of the third and cruised in with the 15-4 final. The Rowley offense was led by leadoff hitter Dan Berube, shaking off a slow start to the season Berube erupted with a 3 -4 night with 6 RBI , 3 Runs and a stolen base. For the Rams Tim Moore added a big 2 RBI single, Dan Tomasz went 2-4 with a stolen base and Jeff Walter added 2 hits and 2 RBI. Matt Wile was the starting pitcher for the Rams, he surrendered just 4 hits with 6 strikeouts in 4+ innings, but he struggled with his command walking 5 and hitting 3 batters. Joe White entered the game for the Rams in the 5th and pitched 3 Innings giving up 3 hits, 2 walks and 0 runs. For the Tories, Travers and Rogers both had 2 hits with a run scored. The two teams will meet for the final time this season, Friday night at Proctor.
