Beverly - 6, Rockport - 2

Josh Levesque allowed 1 run in 6 innings while striking out 5 to earn the win over the Rockport Townies.  Levesque's bat also contributed as he reached base four times with an RBI single and three walks.

The Giants scored a run in the top of the first on the Levesque single.  Rockport answered right back in the bottom half on Mike Muniz' RBI single.  Beverly went ahead for good in the second when Levesque walked with the bases loaded pushing home a run.

Beverly tacked on single runs in the fourth and sixth and then plated two in the seventh on a Kevin Harutunian double.  Conor Walsh and Frankie Messina each finished the game with two hits.

Rockport used 5 pitchers in the game and as a group had a hard time finding the plate issuing 11 walks to go with 10 hits.  Shawn Hull took the loss allowing 2 runs in 3 2/3 innings of relief.  Mike Muniz was 2 for 4 with 2RBI.
