The Rowley Rams escape Ipswich Chiefs behind John Rusolillo's 10 strikeouts, 8-0

An ace performance by John Rusolillo hoisted the Rowley Rams to an 8-0 win in seven innings over Ipswich Chiefs on Monday at Bialek Park - 13 Linebrook Rd, Ipswich, MA 01938.

Rusolillo's 10 strikeouts were enough to push the Rowley Rams past Ipswich Chiefs. The Rowley Rams' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.  The Rowley Rams beat Ipswich Chiefs thanks to 12 hits, including two extra base hits. The Rowley Rams scored four runs in the first on the Rowley Rams scored in the first on a wild pitch, a single by Colby Ingraham, an RBI single by Joe Esposito.

The Rowley Rams' Ingraham, Jordon Silva and Shawn White combined for seven hits and two RBIs.
Greg Doucette was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
