Strong pitching leads Ipswich Chiefs past Hamilton Generals 4-0

Jake Greaney kept Hamilton Generals off the board during his seven innings of work and Ipswich Chiefs beat Hamilton Generals, 4-0.

Greaney allowed two hits, three walks and struck out four.   Ipswich Chiefs couldn't get anything going as long as Jack Clay was on the hill. Clay held Ipswich Chiefs hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.  Andre Painchaud ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.

The game was never in doubt after the third, as Ipswich Chiefs scored three runs on two singles.
