Ipswich Chiefs Captures Lead Early To Defeat Rowley Rams

Rowley Rams fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 6-0 loss to Ipswich Chiefs on Wednesday.  Ipswich Chiefs scored on a single by Dave Moore and a single by Jeff Doucettein the first inning.


  • Ipswich Chiefs captured the lead in the first inning.  Dave Moore singled on a 1-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
  • A single by Justin Bolla in the second inning was a positive for Rowley Rams.
  • Andrew Carbone earned the win for Ipswich Chiefs. He threw seven innings, giving up zero runs, five hits, striking out six, and walking zero.  Dylan Copeland took the loss for Rowley Rams. He went five innings, allowing six runs, nine hits, striking out four, and walking one.
  • Tim Cashman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Rowley Rams in hits.
  • Ipswich Chiefs collected ten hits.  Sam BlizardMooreChas Rousseau, and Jeff Doucetteeach collected multiple hits for Ipswich Chiefs.  Ipswich Chiefs was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jon Lech had the most chances in the field with seven.
