Rowley Rams Captures Lead Early to Defeat Ipswich Chiefs

Ipswich Chiefs fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-3 loss to Rowley Rams on Monday.  Rowley Rams captured the lead in the second inning.  Rowley Rams scored four runs in the third inning. The big inning for Rowley Rams came thanks to a single by CJ Ingraham, a single by Colby Ingraham, a triple by Justin Bolla, and a walk.

Jeff Moore earned the win for Rowley Rams. He pitched one inning, surrendering one run, two hits, striking out two, and walking one. Jay Galoski took the loss for Ipswich Chiefs. He tossed seven innings, giving up seven runs, 12 hits, and striking out two.  Tim Moore started the game for Rowley Rams. He went five innings, surrendering one run, nine hits, and striking out five.

Ipswich Chiefs collected 12 hits. Jake Greaney, Pat Doody, Greg Doucette, and Chas Rousseau each collected multiple hits for Ipswich Chiefs. Jeff Doucette went 1-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in. Ipswich Chiefs was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Dave Moore had the most chances in the field with eight.

Rowley Rams had 12 hits in the game. Ingraham, Dimitri Hunt, and Anthony Conte each collected multiple hits for Rowley Rams. Ingraham went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Rowley Rams in hits. Rowley Rams was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Mark Berkland made the most plays with eight.
