Early Lead For Beverly Giants Seals Fate For Hamilton Generals

Hamilton Generals fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-7 loss to Beverly Giants on Tuesday. Beverly Giants scored on a single by Conor Walsh in the first inning, a groundout by Gavin Sparkman in the first inning, a single by Josh Levesque in the first inning, a single by Mike Macdonald in the first inning, and a single by Levesque in the second inning.

Despite the loss, Hamilton Generals did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Beverly Giants had 13 hits on the way to victory.

Beverly Giants opened up scoring in the first inning, when Walsh singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.  Sean Martin pitched Beverly Giants to victory. He allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out one.

Lee Drinkwater took the loss for Hamilton Generals. He lasted four innings, allowing ten hits and nine runs while striking out one.

Levesque started the game for Beverly Giants. He allowed eight hits and five runs over four innings, striking out three

Hamilton Generals socked one home run on the day. Harrison O'Brien had a homer in the first inning.
Hamilton Generals had ten hits in the game. O'Brien, Larry Saggese, and Chris Huggett all managed multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. O'Brien went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hamilton Generals in hits.

Beverly Giants racked up 13 hits on the day. Sparkman, Levesque, Luke McDonald, and Walsh each collected multiple hits for Beverly Giants.
