Mariners 7 - Rams 2

The Manchester Essex Mariners eased their way to comfortable 7-2 win in Rowley tonight. Steve Stout led the way on the mound with 6 strong innings. Offensively Orlando and Cahill had 3 hits each while Bertolino and Graham added 2 hits. For Rowley Matt Wile pitched 5 2/3 suffering the loss. Offensively for the Rams Renzulli had 2 hits. The Rams are off until Friday when they face the Ipswich Chiefs for the first time this season, the Mariners are officially off until Monday when they will host Rockport in a makeup, however, there is a rumor that the Rams and Mariners will makeup their rainout this Sunday and finish off the season series, stay tuned.
