Hamilton defeated Rowley 7-0 Thursday night at Patton Park behind a
Connor Sullivan two hit shutout. Sullivan looked great on the mound
all game, striking out six in his complete game effort. Hamilton score
two runs in the third on RBI singles by Matt Greeke and Jim Maloney.
The Generals then erupted for four more in the fourth with two outs.
Maloney delivered a two-run double which was immediately followed by a
Bryan Vitale two-run single.
The Generals were paced offensively by Reginald J. Maidment
(0-for-0, 2 HBP, BB, SB, 2R), Maloney (3-for-4, 2B, 4RBI, R) and Vitale
(1-for-2, BB, 2RBI). Hamilton next plays on Monday in Ipswich while
Rowley will travel to Beverly on Sunday.
