Rockport 10 Rowley 2

Townies defeated the Rams of Rowley 10-2 on Sunday evening in Rockport.  Brett Smith went the distance for his second win on the season.  Smith gave up 2 runs on seven hits, while striking out three and walking one.  Tom Moore received the loss as his control got the best of him.  Moore allowed 7 runs on 4 hits, 4 walks and a few hit batsmen. 

For the Townies, Brent Currier paced them offensively with 2 hits, including a HR, and two runs scored.  Emerson, Noble and Sharon all reached base with a hit and a walk each along with 2 runs scored. 

For the Rams, Bolla and Renzulli (2 runs scored) each had two hits.
