Ipswich - 10, Beverly - 1

The Ipswich Chiefs held a 4 to 1 advantage when they erupted for 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to put away the Beverly Giants. Kevin Michael allowed 1 unearned run in 6 innings for the win. Matt Small was 2 for 3 with a homerun to lead the offense. For Beverly, Josh Levesque fell to 2-1 with the loss allowing 4 runs over 5 innings. Ty Besse was 2 for 3 with a run scored.

The game was called for darkness after 6 innings.

 Ipswich travels to Beverly for a rematch on Sunday.
