Beverly - 8, Rockport - 5

Beverly beat Rockport 8 to 5 at Cooney Field on Friday night.  Frankie Messina went 5 2/3 innings for the win.  Erik Drown entered with the bases loaded in the 6th and got out of the jam before pitching a perfect 7th for the save. 

Offensively, John Boyle hit a grand slam and Drown had a two run homer.  Paul Drinkwater went 4 for 4 with 3 doubles and 2RBI.  Frankie Messina helped his own cause with 3 walks and 2 stolen bases.
