Hamilton beat Rockport 6-5 on Tuesday
night at Patton Park. Jack Clay went six innings and gave up four runs
to earn to win. Cam Charette gave up an unearned run in the 7th, but
recorded the save. Hamilton trailed 4-3 going into the bottom of the
5th, but plated three runs to take the lead. Mike Chandler tied the
game with a RBI double and Mark Ruggiero broke the tie with a dribbler
up the third base line that went for a hit.
Ruggiero had two hits for Hamilton and Brent Currier led the Rockport
attack with three hits. McDowell contributed two hits for Rockport and
went six innings on the mound in taking the loss.
